Founded in 2006 by Didier Constant and Denis Vayer, Nomad Photo represents the merger of two talented photographers with complementary styles. Specialized in action and sport photography Nomad Photo is driven by passion. Both Didier and Denis are true nomadic shooters - they can't stay more than two minutes at the same place - with a keen eye for action. They traveled all over the globe in their quest for images: hot air ballooning, Drag Racing, Nascar, Indy Car, Formula 1, World Rally Championship, Paris-Dakar (1988), ISDE, WEC, WSBK, World Endurance, MotoGP, AMA Superbike. They did it all...

Didier Constant
After brilliant college studies in computer science, Didier switched to teaching, getting his degree in 1979. In 1981, he moved to Canada and decided to start a new life.
Originally working as a freelance photographer, he accepted the position of associate editor at MOTO JOURNAL in 1985 and then editor & photographer at MOTOCYCLISTE/CYCLE 1 the following year.
In 1990, his need for freedom drove him back into freelance. He contributed to famous international sport magazines (Moto Journal France, Moto Revue, American Roadracing, Cycle World), worked for prestigious sporting organizations (Canada's Athlete Information Bureau, Montreal Canadians, Montreal Impact, Montreal Machine, Quebec Tennis Federation) and shoot for corporate and institutional clients (Bombardier, BRP International, Molson, City of Montreal, Tennis Mag, Le Devoir, Le Journal Industriel, Publiquip, Publigam, Entreprendre, Info Presse, Grafika).
In 1999, his former boss at Turbopress made him a proposal he could not refuse: redesigning and redefining MOTOCYCLISTE, a Federation publication, into a consumer magazine. For 5 years, he stayed at the helm of MOTOCYCLISTE before accepting the position of editor & photographer at MOTO JOURNAL in 2004.
At the end of 2007, he took the decision to reinvent himself once again to pursue new challenges and live his passion for photography. He also write for Les motards vagabonds, his own motorcycle blog and is currently developing motoplus.ca, an ambitious online motorcycle magazine.

Denis Vayer
Denis arrived in Montreal in 1979, fresh from a famous school of photography in Paris. He settled around Freliburgh, in the Eastern Townships, where he worked as a stock photographer for several years.
In 1982, he moved to Montreal and created PHOTO PROCILAB, a photo lab specialized in E6 processing (slides) and Cibachrome, a revolutionary process at the time that produced supersaturated colour prints.
PHOTO PROCILAB rapidly became a highly rated lab among pro shooters. By the mid-eighties, the need for images grew so big that Denis saw the opportunity to open ALPHA PRESSE, a local press agency that distributed international agencies and Quebec's photographers as well. ALPHA PRESSE became an instant success, but by 2001, the advent of digital photography made both companies obsolete.
In 2004, Denis sold PHOTO PROCILAB and ALPHA PRESSE and returned to image taking. He is specialized in stock, portrait and studio photography. And he is now putting his talents at the service of motorsports.
